Kurt Van Meter is one of the more interesting underdog stories I’ve witnessed up close, and it isn’t over yet by any means. Kurt’s music is a sort of storyteller folk meets outlaw country. He’s not flashy, he’s not slick. But he’s real, and his music is really good. He’s a honky-tonk hero from the Pacific Northwest and has begun to take his music nationally as a rising independent country music artist.

“Echoes of the Outlaws” is the second single released from an initial 8-12 song set we have been working on. If you love Waylon Jennings and Yellowstone, this is your jam.  Oh… speaking of Yellowstone… Kurt’s song “Cowboy Grit” will be featured in Cole Hauser’s (Rip on Yellowstone) short film promo for PBR (Pro Bull Riders Association ) in 2024.
